A series of three museums in Teshima, Japan exhibit various collections of culturally significant Japanese ceramics, while engaging the conceptual history as well as pottery’s relationship to landsape. Through the lens of architectural facade, this abstract analysis takes a closer look at the Taiwanese and Japanese representation of cultural artifacts, and how that tendency has changed over time from figure to field.
